Tour de Cure cyclists make a wheel-y big impact for cancer research
The tour creates an unbreakable bond for all involved, with many not only carrying their bikes but their own stories of how cancer has touched their lives. Alongside them, dedicated Flinders researchers and clinicians were also pedalling toward a brighter future, our everyday superheroes.
What sets the SA Discovery Tour apart and makes it so meaningful to us is its ability to bring individuals together from all walks of life in a united effort to support Flinders researchers and clinicians and their mission to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
The impact extended even further with the addition of a $10,000 cheque granted to the Flinders Head and Neck Cancer Division, where funds will directly support equipment and supplies for newly diagnosed patients.
The team spun their wheels hard this tour, all working toward a cancer-free future, but they’re not done yet. Riders set out to raise $500,000 and your support can still help them reach their goal and create an even bigger impact.
