Gynaecology Oncology Awareness Forum

Join us on Tuesday, 30 September for a morning of awareness, community connection and updates on how Flinders is advancing Gynaecological cancer support and research.
You’ll hear a mid-year progress report on the 12-month funded Clinical Research Midwife/Nurse role in the Women & Children’s Division at SALHN—a position dedicated to improving ovarian cancer care pathways and enhancing patient experiences—thanks to the legacy Marion McCormack enabled with her selfless vision—to help other women battling the same illness that took her life.
We hope you will find that it will be an informative and engaging session featuring presentations about improved screening techniques and cancer care pathways, service provision, as well as personal stories of diagnosis.
Feel free to bring a colleague or friend along, as your attendance helps raise vital awareness and supports ongoing improvements in care for women across our community.
RSVP by 22 September by emailing supporters@flindersfoundation.org.au, calling 8204 5216 or via our website.
