Meet Alice, Your Engagement Manager

Posted 9 July 2025
I’m Alice, Engagement Manager at Flinders Foundation. I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, if we haven’t met already!

Hi, I’m Alice, the Engagement Manager at Flinders Foundation. In my role, I have the privilege to collaborate with both our exceptional research and healthcare staff, and our incredible donors. I am lucky enough to be able to connect with those who make such an impact on the life-changing and life-saving care and treatment in our community.

I am passionate about working closely with our amazing researchers and clinicians to identify how Flinders Foundation can support them to deliver exceptional care and research to our health network, and about creating meaningful relationships with phenomenal supporters like you, whose kindness and generosity makes our mission possible.

I have a personal connection to Flinders myself. My two little girls are both Flinders babies and were lucky enough to be born under the incredible care of the Flinders Midwifery Group Practice. As a little girl myself, I received care here after I was involved in an accident in Port Elliott – I was transported to Flinders by ambulance and was in a coma in ICU for a few days – and then spent time recovering in the Paediatric Unit.

The best part about my role is the opportunity to show gratitude and spread some positivity and compassion across the Flinders precinct. I also want you, one of our generous supporters, to know how much we appreciate your decision in choosing to donate to the Flinders Foundation, and the incredible impact your donation makes.

I am continuously inspired by hearing our donor’s stories as to what propels them to support the Flinders Foundation – whether it’s through a small donation or a transformational gift, every story has a meaningful message behind it.

All donations, no matter the increment, pool together to deliver better healthcare outcomes for everyone in the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.

If you donate, you will hear from me at some point to acknowledge your generosity and to say thank you. So, keep an eye out for my call, because I can’t wait to speak to you and learn more about the people who make exceptional care at Flinders possible!
