Pink Yellow Blue Ball 2018

The 2018 Pink Yellow Blue Ball was certainly a night to remember with an incredible $340,000 raised for cancer research prevention and care at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.

More than 700 guests gathered for the annual gala event which is now in its 29th year, for an evening of fine wine, dining and unforgettable entertainment from David Campbell and a cappella group Idea of North.

The famous Pink Yellow Blue Ball lotteries were once again a highlight of the night, with Flinders Medical Centre nurse Christine Regter driving away in the brand - new Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport Hatch proudly donated by CMI Toyota.

Christine has worked at Flinders for 20 years and is currently acting Nurse Unit Manager of the High Dependency Unit. She had such little expectations of winning that she hadn't even told her husband she had purchased a ticket!

Bronwyn and Graham O’Brien were the winners of the $5000 cash lottery, while Andrew Hage, Richard Porter and Kate Thiele walked away with beautiful jewellery thanks to Wishart Jewellers.

The Pink Yellow Blue Ball has raised in excess of $3 million in its history – providing care for patients and their families and enabling Flinders researchers to embark on ground-breaking cancer research.
