Three new Directors join Flinders Foundation Board
Former SA Health Chief Financial Officer Jamin Woolcock, senior finance executive Tony Siebert, and Credit Union SA Head of Brand & Partnerships Joann Skene join the Board led by Chair, Rob Snowdon OAM.
Mr Snowdon said the new Directors’ deep expertise will help ensure that every donation creates the greatest possible impact for people and families across South Australia and beyond.
"I'm delighted to welcome Jamin, Tony and Joann to the Board. Each of them brings exceptional experience across healthcare, finance, governance and community engagement, along with a genuine commitment to improving lives," he said.
"Flinders Foundation connects community generosity with health professionals and researchers, helping them go further, turning groundbreaking research into exceptional care for patients.
"Together, we can help more patients and families receive the care they need, when they need it most."
For almost 50 years, Flinders Foundation has worked alongside its generous community of supporters to invest more than $75 million into life-changing medical research and patient care initiatives. In 2025, the Foundation contributed more than $2.1 million, including $1.44 million to health and medical research and $700,000 to patient care initiatives. The Foundation has set its sights on making an even greater impact in future years.
Mr Snowdon also thanked outgoing Director Kate Thiele, who has concluded her term after almost eight years on the Board.
"On behalf of the Board and the Foundation team, I sincerely thank Kate for her dedication, expertise and generosity over many years,” he said.
