Educational computer tablets for cancer patients
Starting cancer treatment is overwhelming on many levels, with lots of new information to take in. But now cancer patients can access educational videos via new tablet computers purchased thanks to your generous support.
Patients like Pauline Jolly (pictured), who was recently diagnosed with leukaemia, can use the tablets during their treatment sessions to learn more about a range of cancer topics at their own pace – including information about chemotherapy and immunotherapy, how to best look after themselves, and even tutorials on how to administer injections at home.
